How much tempature change does it take?

I recently re-jetted my carb when I installed my K&N air filter. I ended up with a 270 main, and the needle on the 3rd clip...and it ran perfect. Now, 2 weeks later I find that it sputters on the top end.. When you crack the throttle it dosn't bog down, but isn't very smooth...
The only thing different is the tempature, so how much does it take? Since I did the re-jet, the temp has maybe only changed 10 degrees, if that. Do You think I should try going to a 260? Or is it another problem.

Drop the needle one clip and see if that helps since it sounds like it is running a little rich since the temp. changes. If this does'nt fix it I would go down on the main 1 to 2 sizes with the clip back in the 3rd clip like you had. Since it was that small of a temp. change you should be able to fix the slight rich condition with minor adjustments to your jetting. Good Luck, Slim
