Default Cheap Blaster Upgrades

Hello guys.

My cousin is selling a 2001 Blaster for $1800 that he used 5x. Also if anyone is intrested he had a Banshee that he's selling ask me for the details if intreasted.

I am going to buy the blaster and i want it to be able to outrun the Bombardier Rally 200 Automatic. My friend has this and i want to be able to beat it. I need an inexpensive upgrade lets say $80-150. I have road the Rally 200 and it is pretty fast and i don't know if i'll be able to beat him in any drag race. Thank you.

ummm dude, u dont need any mods to beat it, in fact u are going to murder it, even if its stock its a 4 stroke utility, ur on a very peppy 2 stroke, j/w is this gonna be ur first quad? well if it is then any of the mods u can possibly do urself u will mess ur bike up so wiat till later for do it urselfers, but k&n air filter no lid, boyeson reeds, pipe silencer, these mods will definately wake it up

yeah you shouldnt need any mods to beat the rally 200. although i have never ridden a rally. i believe that the blaster is way faster becuse it is a two stroke. and it is plain a$$ fast.

yea this is my first quad. I have heard of the rally 200 beating a yamaha (i forget the name) 230CC or something like that. I was looking at the Filters you recommended i can't find one for the 2001 blaster. Does it matter? Also is it stand alone or do i need to get something else. by the way For the money is it a decent enough upgrade?

u will see an improvment with the k&n but not huge, same with reeds, if u ever get a pipe and silencer then u will se a huge difference but a even bigger gain when u get into the motor, blaster is pretty big step for a first bike but is also a great learning bike, a blaster is a manual with clutch so it will feel alot different than the utilities u probably ride and a big difference in power, the air filter is about 30-50 bucks and reeds are about 30 and pipes and silencer kits are usually about 300, u will take almost any utility without hassle
