Should I chrome or polish my side covers?

a wadding polish works good also and the best i have used is eagle 1 never dull, that is some good stuff but i will get the name of the rags for later maintence for the side cases, this will keep the shine up with no messy polish, just wipe with rag then wipe off with a clean cloth and it looks brand new..I dont regret polishing the side cases, it's just amazing that there's that pretty metal under that scuffed paint...
And a side note paint stripper will be your best friend during this process , make sure you have plenty..
to get started i would use:
Paint stripper
tooth brush or fine brillow pad
some saftey glasses
Long sleeve shirt (So no paint stripper burns you..)
Some old cotton t-shirts (Cheaper than rags)
A dremel tool if possible for those corners..
And some sand paper(Pretty fine but not that fine)

You could get them bead-blasted fairly cheap and then do the hard hands on work yourself. After a good blasting I hit mine with a soft wire wheel on my drill and then lots of sandpaper eventually working up to like 4000 grit. Then polish w/ Mothers. It's hard work but worth it.
