raptor rear axle bearings

can anybody tell me the difficulty of changing the rear axle bearings on a raptor?.....mine just went out today.......gotta have it running by friday...................all responces appreciated

Not hard at all really. The hardest part would be taking the rear axle locknuts off IMO. Just losen up the locknuts on the rear axle, then when they are off, loosen up the chain adjustment after. once those are all loose, take off the back right tire facing the back end. Take the chain off the sprocket and slide out the axle, it might be a little stubborn, you might have to have a mallet to motivate it some. Once you got that out, take out the brake rotor and then take apart the rear carrier adjustment brackets on either side of the carrier. Slide out the carrier and put in on the bench or a vise. Just be careful not to ding it up too much. take a screwdriver or the proper picks and pull out the seals, take a drift punch from the inside of the carrier drive out each set of bearings. Clean it up, slap in one bearing, put the spacer back in, then put the other bearing in, slide on your seals real carefully and reassemble in reverse order. Enjoy
