My buddy has a YFZ450 and is getting ready to put a full system exhaust. He's the kind of guy that wants a complete system..pipe, jets, jetting instructions..and it needs to be spark arrested. He wants the "kit" to complete and "spelled" out for an easy install...Any suggestions?

I've got the GYT-R kit... header, exhaust, jetting kit... It comes w/ a spark arrestor, just like i'm pretty sure all after market pipes do. (doesn't mean it still isn't loud though.) I think the GYT puts the dB up to 102 or something, from the 84 dB you get w/ the factory pipe.

but damn does it make it fast.

 

Hebs...So the GYTR kit made a nice power increase..and it is spark arrested? Did they give any jetting recommendations? Whats your jetting? Thanks, Dingo

 

It gave me a great power increase. I have no problems bringing the bike up in 1st 2nd or 3rd. As for the jetting, I'm not sure actually. I had the bike in the shop to fix a seal, and they received my jetting kit at the same time... Since I was out of town, I decided to have them toss it in for me. More than likely it's at the default settings that you can do a search for here on the forums to get.

I hear taking the spark arrestor out is suppose to give you a lil HP increase... but it really makes the quad noisy.

fyi: I also have the airbox lid off.
