What are the biggest tires I can fit on stock rims for my 2001 kodiak? I saw some nice looking tires on the rocky mountain site but they were 25" and up. I'm assuming those are going to be too big without a lift.

I just put on a set of Mudlites 26 inch and love them, no loss of power at all

 

Hello and welcome to ATV Connection. I had 26 inch on my 02 without any problems at all. The only thing that I didn't like about my 26inch tires was that when I turn really sharp left (all the way) my tire would rub on my winch. That is my only issue though. With the 26's I seemed to have lots of clearance in the fenders. And no noticeable power loss either. So to answer your queston 25's and 26's will work fine hopefully someone will be able to answer the 27 inch tire question.
