Ya, I watched fox news last night and Aledo has been hammered with rain. It will be late july before its dry there and thats if the rain decided to stay away for a while. I say lets hold out and and reschedual for the fall sure wont be as hot. Good luck 14 hope all is well with the estate.

Sorry to hear about that Mark. Ernie660R is going to be disappointed once he gets back from Finland? I believe...we are in Houston and the weather has teased us all week, but nothing like the pictures I saw on the news last night in Aledo. I think a tentative reschedule is in order though possibly at the end of the summer or early fall.

yeah I agree. As much as I wanted to go to the nationals, Id rather keep them traditional and just wait untill we can have them at Aledo. If anyone wants to go to the Red River that weekend of the 19th i might be interested. What and where are the LA dunes? How far?

Ow well I will make the trip to Aledo next summer if things go right, and will most likely be in KY if any one wants to show up and run.

There were far more people that were within 2-4 hours than people traveling long distances. Plus it wouldn't be the same, ya know no roasted pig, fireworks after the races. There will be another time. Maybe us locals can hook up at rockey ridge that day if its not under water also.

14mins and sixsixt, contact us ASAP. I made a few phone calls and have an alternative racetrack for your nationals, concessions, dyno. They will still be Your Aledo Nationals, once removed due to flooding! We need to get in high gear though, real quick to make this happen!!
Man I hate to do this, but here is our phone. PLEASE do not everyone call it!!!
