My friend is upgrading from a predator 90 and is thinking about a blaster.. He wants something that will make it up sand mtn in Utah. I think he is ready to go to a blaster because he is 12 and has been riding there suzuki ozark.. and also.. can a 250ex or z250 make it up with paddles? thanks!

I would say so. Don't underestimate their power.

 

they will make it but unless your really light probably first gear and slow most of the top half

 

also I can climb sand mountain on my 250x with paddles. its also slow and first gear but it makes it

 

I have climbed most of the hills at glammis on a blaster. You wont win any races but you can get there.

Oh BTW I am 6'2" and about 225 pounds

 

so a 12 year old that is like 95 lb would have no problem? he really wants to go up it becuase he wants to show off to his friends and try and impress me...lol!!!

 

my friends son is about 11 or 12 and has a stock blaster and makes it no problem if they will take me up 260 pounds should be no prob for a 95 pounder lol
