Default Wolverine Suspension

Has anyone ever tried replacing the springs on their Wolvy to try to soften it up for trail riding?
I have my F&R spring preload set on the lowest setting and the bike is still too stiff for the trails I'm riding. I weigh 185 lbs and have replaced the 23 inch tires with 25" Bighorns. I run 7 lbs in the tires and have tried all the way down to 4 lbs but that didn't help. The Bighorns are the radial version which I have read are supposed to be better riding that the bia ply.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!!

I went with works triple rate shocks with reservoirs for racing xc, but they are alot softer just trail riding, they are expensive.
