Default two strokers unite

Hey guys, thumpers have there place too. Custom choppers (though it would be cool to see a two stroke chopper), american v8's, lawn mowers, and go-carts.
Add me to the 2-stroke lovers group. Even my 1975 Lawn Boy (yeah, they were 2-stroke back then!!) still purrs like new and the motors never been touched. And I will express my opinion on one aspect of the 2 vs 4 battle. NOTHING sounds better than a triple 2-stroke and it takes at least FOUR, yes I said four, cylinders to get a good sounding 4-stroke. Now before your Hardley owners argue that point, remember, I said GOOD sound not just loud.

Nothing any of you thumper guys say can make us give up our classics. We are here to stay. EPA may ban the production of two strokes in 2006, but the two strokes made before 2006 will be allowed to ride anywhere thumpers are allowed to ride. Thumper guys, you can keep your cams, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, and your extra two strokes. We don't need them to make nearly twice the power given equal displacement.

No problem...

I actually bought a 200sx from my boss...I wasn't even going to buy it, but its in such mint condition, its more of a novelty...i believe its an 86, and it's just cool to have around...Its by no means your 250R, but it puts around pretty well! lol parts are getting hard to find, so I stopped riding it..anyway, sweet R, its cool that you found one that was so close to stock...not many are..

I'm in....Been 300ft.Drag racing since 1995,Started on a 2- stroke and still have one a Zilla,and I've taken a few of the 4-stroke 4 cylinder competitor's out,through those year's.A GS- 1100 powered banshee,KZ-100 powered Mojave,GS-1100 powered Honda 250r,and a gs-600 motorcycle.I chose a 2-stroke because of the power for less money factor.I hate to see the 2-stroke go,I just could'nt amagine cutting down a tree with a heavy 4-stroke powered chainsaw,let alone a 4-stroke powered weed wacker.4-stroke's are cool and I've seen alot of FAST one's at the race's,but the 2- stroke is cheaper to build up then a 4-stroke.Blame it on the tree hugger's I guess.

Im in too, i wish a thread like this could sway the opinions of the anti-2 stroker environmentalists. Long Live 2-Strokes!!

btw, contrary to popular opinion, im not anti-4-stroke, i would rather be on a 4-stroke 4x4 in tight slippery or steep trail rides than on my shee.

Dude, ur an idiot. No one in here said anything about u guys giving up ur 2-strokes. The only reason I jumped in is because of u saying how inferior 4-strokes are. They are not inferior, I would rather have a 2-stroke dirt bike personly, but I know the 450's are puting out more power. Granted I want to get another 2-stroke, but I dont take sides.

Instead of jacking on yourselves about 2 vs 4 strokes, how about quad riders in general vs people trying to shut down our riding areas. That would actual be a usefull argument.

And as for the 2-strokes can go wherever the 4-strokes can, that is a false statement, there is a few places 2-strokes cant run.

BTW, I hope 2 stroke owners do fight to keep them on the trails. So go get a petition signing towards the tree huggers, not us. U aren't doing anyone any favors fighting your own kind.

Motox,

Hey man I diddnt think this was a thread for bashing thumpers. Nor is it a 2-stroke vs. 4-stroke thread. Did you even read the opening post? No disrespect but c'mon man!
