Default Banshee or Suzuki

I have a 2000 banshee that is pretty hopped up with .060 pro-x's, PD cool head, T5's, CT bottom and mid porting, V-Force 2 reeds, 30mm carbs, Toomey 2into1 air filter, and DG clutchs to round out the motor mods. It is fast but I have a suzuki gsxr 750 sitting in my shop that runs great but I never ride it. I have done engine swaps before and I am thinking about dropping the 750 in my shee and selling my shee engine. I think if I get a +4 swing arm and some elka shocks to go with the added wieght it will be fine. Oh yeah, it is not for just drag racing, I ride alot of fireroads and trails and i bet that engine would be awsome at the dunes. What do you guys think.

Those engines are tall. You have to do all kind of frame chopping and welding.

how would a street bike do in the trails?? i have always wanted to know this. I know they are good in the dunes and drags...but i have heard of no one who rides trails with a street bike engine.

I am kinda wondering about the trails myself. Being an overhead cam engine it is going to carry alot of the added weight up top and it might make it tippy. Banshee's are kinda nose heavy anyway so I am going to try and keep the engine as far back and low as possible. I know the 750 carries 530 chain but I think I am going to try and get a 520 front sprocket for it so i don't have to get a special sprocket made for the rear and it will save some weight. I figure if 120-140hp banshee's run 520 I should be able to also. I will lose a little weight off the top because I won't have the radiator and coolant up there. All I have to have will be the oil cooler and I can mount it low to try to keep the weight off the top. I will just have to protect it with some type of screen. I wish there was some way to turn the jugs around so the carbs would be on the front of the motor and the exhaust would be on the rear but I havent checked into that yet. That would be wild.
