Default warrior or 300ex?

i've been wanting a new atv recently and i have narrowed it down to a 300ex or a warrior, could anybody help with which one i need to get? Also, i have heard that the warrior has a bad powerband and it kicks in hard, is that true?

thanx for any help

The Warriors powerband is almost unique I'd say for a 4stroke. It kicks in at high at midrange...If your going through the gear, you can't even tell....but try starting out in 4th gear and you'll see what I mean. It'll wanna like bog but if you keep it going it will just kick in and start accllerating pretty quick.

I don't think it has a bad powerband...I love my warrior and it's very fun. I'm gonna try and keep it as long as I possibly can either for my main ride or for a backup/cruiser ride. Go wit the Warrior or even better the new Raptor 350....you won't be unhappy.

Default warrior or 300ex?

hey i'm 13 (14 in a month) and i have an 03 warrior. i think it rides great. i ride it on trails mostly, with some tracks and ice/snow thrown in. i haven't riden the 300 so i cant tell you much about horsepower but, i got up to around 60-65 on snow covered ice. so I THINK, if you want to go semi fast the warrior will be fine, but if you want to go fasssssst then go for something else.
oh, if you want to get the warrior but need to get one used, i would suggest that you what untill you can find an 05' 350 raptor. the warrior is good, but i hear that the raptor 350 is better.

Then if money is an issue stick with the warrior the raptor 350 is better but it will be alot harder to find a good deal on one. I bought mine used and with im very happy with mine never let me down and has impresive power to the simple mods i have added.

i'm 15 and i got my warrior last year and i love it almost more than my g/f... warrior has about 20-22 hp stock 300ex i'd say about 16... there to dang slow tho ... the warrior gets up and f'n goes like a raped ape(for gearing and tire size) 300ex seems to not do so well with a 200lb person on it ... eer 150 iwas 150 when i rode it...

I would prefer the 300ex, it seems to be better for mx. My friend is selling his warrior, with a yoshi pipe, and thats all I know about is on it. Although, I dont think you want to come all the way up here for one.
