Default my Banshee is still dead after plug change... any ideas?

i had a set of fouled plugs which occured from a day of riding. i could feel one cylinder dying out here and there then both were running like crap. i limped it almost home then it died all together. today i changed the plugs and it was still hard starting. got it started and let it warm up a bit then put it in gear and eased out the clutch and it died. restarted it and as soon as load is put on the motor it dies out.

did i foul out one side of the motor? how do i clean that out? is my coil maybe going? how should i check if thats the problem? could i possibly be due for a dreaded "top rebuild"?

i do most my own work on things except machining and tranny work so give me your thoughts on what to check.
i just got this pig a week ago and wanna aty least get it to last the summer before i TOTALLY go through it.
i will be on the board ALOT tonight and tomorrow till its runnin again.

thanks everybody in advance for your help.

ok i didnt see a TORS on it i dont believe. the only thing above the carbs is the little balancer tube that is between them then the airbox inlet.
upon looking under there i saw the following
2 grey connectors with yellow and black wires coming out of each. the yellows were twisted together and so were the black ones
1 black connector with a yellow and a black wire which were twisted together
1 white plug coming from the front with a red and a black wire coming out of it which were twisted together.

i take it as those were the wires to the TORS. should those wires be like that? or should i disconnect at the connectors and tape them up.

what should i check next??

I'm sorry I don't know much about tors and crap since my tors were removed when I bought my shee. Try running a search about tors.

thanks for the help. the problem was in the wiring. it was totally old and the bone head who wired it just stripped some wire twisted it and put some tape on it. one was even done with a wirenut. i took everything apart and stripped everything to good fresh wire and soldered all the connections and put heat shrink and electrical tape on them. started right up and rode fine.
thanks all for the help.
