I'm looking to surprise my b/f and buy him some new 'racing' handlebars for his 02' Raptor. I went on Renthal's website but I'm not quite sure that the 7/8" would look right. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Please help.... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I would get the fat bars...they are stronger and look cool.

The 7/8" bars are the stock size. If you get the 1 and 1/8" bars you will need a new clamp to put them on. I upgraded my stockers to a better 7/8" bar and I love them. The larger bars are stronger but also more expensive. Renthal is a good choice no matter what size you get. Pro taper makes some excellent 1 1/8 bars, and factory 909 makes a nice set of 7/8 bars too. Good luck with your search.

 

I thought that you couldnt get fat bars for the 02' Raptor. I requested a catalog from Renthal and under product code it lists the quads that the fat bars will fit onto, and it doesn't list the Raptor. But you can still get them ? .... You just have to get a fat bar clamp adaptor for the Raptor. Hey that rhymes.... I got a good deal from Rockymountianatv.com

Magicracing.com sells the kits for around 37 bucks without the actual bars. Rockymountain has them too. You can buy the bars and mounts starting at around 120 or so I believe.

 

Actually, magic has the renthal fat bars for 60, so you are looking at around 100 bucks plus tax. Shipping to if you dont want to go pick them up. Magic racing is in Pontiac MI.

 

you may as well just get the billet trailtech computer holder and computer while you are at it,,,maybe even a set of HID lights to mount to that billet
