Keep in mind that these times are on a 300 ft grass track that starts with 75 ft of dirt onto 225 ft of grass. (Half track can get slick LOL)
Friends times. 6.326=46.98, 6.004=53.81 mph.
My times. 5.409=56.96, 5.413=58.52 These #s are taken right off my time slip.
But as you can see by my #s that ETs and MPHs dont really equate because you have to take into consideration track conditions and human error. My lowest ET was not my fastest time.
Know what I mean?

 

Fastest 300ft time around here is 3.8.....but I believe that same banshee hit a 3.4 one time. It's a very impressive machine. Myself and theraptorman have talked with the guy a couple times, and he is very fast. Just ask theraptorman...he has raced him on several occasions.

 

If you check out the albright shores sight I posted earlier you can see the custom drag machine featured in a dirtwheels mag. There are also a few banshees with huge sled engines up to the 1000cc from suzuki.

 

no banshee based motor has done a 3.4.

I heard somebody from the KY area (I think it was KY) went 3.09 followed by a 3.10 on a laydown.

 

record is currently held by brock. He ran a 3.08 or a 3.09 backed by a 3.10.

Mike doesnt hold the record. I think he only ran like a high 3.7 or low 3.8 right? Cam at HS did a 3.77. I know lorio did consistant 3.80's his first time out on his 14mm cheetah. It will only get faster. Z is also on nitrous dont forget. Packard went a 3.5x on his rotax/banshee tranny motor. That is the fastest banshee transed bike ever ran.

 

That Shee at the track is fast! The slowest time of the year that I have seen him run is a 4.6 and he left his chain at the 150ft mark on that run! LOL I know they were calling allot of 3's the one day we were out there but the last time we were at the track he was consistent on 4.2's. This is all on straight engine he has it wired for nos but doesn't currently have the bottle hooked up, so I would say he is only going to get faster. I will talk to him and find out exactly what kind of 3's he was running that day. I was like Ken and fairly sure he was getting mid 3's... like 3.4 3.5. I will try to get a video of it and post it!

 

Beech, just relaying what they called out on the track. I havent seen the time slips, just what they were telling me from the sidelines. My racing was done for the day. I have only been to a few tracks so I cant tell you how this one compares to others, and whether the times might be conservative or giving. All I can say is thats what I heard, and after watching that banshee beat a custom lenghthened banshee chassis equipped with a 1000cc zuki/cat sled engine, I'm inclined to believe it.
