He used to have a 3 cylinder polaris that ran 3.8's-3.9's. As for my pred i haven't drag raced it because i race mx, but it will go 58-59 in 100 feet goin uphill. Stock motor set up for motocross.

I have always said they have their place but I just haven't seen them prove it on the strip. In fact I have outran a piped pred on my wifes piped Z. I do think they have potential but I just haven't seen it around here and it sounds like Doug has a runner!

Hey guys, I am sure he would love to race u guys if the chance ever comes up. If u ever see him u will no it is him. He will be the one with a super fast predator nicholas cycle stickers on his truck 4wheeler everywhere haha. At this time he won't be draggin this weekend or next because he has the pred apart gettin the frame powder coated blue and the a-arms and swingarms chromed along with some other stuff. I will agree with u that there are a lot of slow predators out there and that is because a lot of these mods u can buy u actually lose HP. It is a different motor that a honda or yamaha and and most dealers dont understand it yet because it is new and havent had time to mess with it. Doug has spent tons of hours and ton of cash working with the motor and he knows it very well.

I would like to see his bike run it sounds really FAST. I have nothing against the Preds at all, but the ones I have seen just have not been impresive, but the fact is that if someone has the smarts, time, and money, they can make a runner out of anything.
Maybe someday he will ship one of his engines out this way (east coast) for someone.
