hit my first jump?

Glad your ok
tips:
1. Stand up DONT EVER HAVE UR A$$ ON THE SEAT WHEN YOU JUMP ( You will go right over the handlebars when you land)
2. Move as far back as you can on the seat (having your body back counterbalances the engine and keeps the quad level)
3. Dont let off the throtte (when you let off the gas the back tires slow down and make the nose dip when you leave the jump)
4. Try to stay off the front brakes if you need to stop right away (using the front breaks makes the back end come up sometimes)
5. Do not put your feet down (your tires will eat up your calves and shins)
6. If you do all this the faster you go the further you will fly

Yup, sounds like you hit your jump sitting down and then chopped the throttle at the lip of the ramp. What happened is you weighted up the rear shock as you hit the face, then as you hit the lip you chopped the throttle because for a split second you thought... "I can't do this." Major mistake Soldier! This caused your front end to drop instead of driving through the jump and with that rear shock preloaded it launched the back end skyward.... I know this because I've been there myself... Trust me this really sucks on a set of doubles.....
Now drop and give me 20!

If you are candle sticking (opposite of nose dive), hit the back brakes, it helps. Also right before you hit the jump, or right before you go airborne, give it about 1/3 more throttle(not exactly 1/3 just a bit more), to avoid nose diving!

yea lean back is the biggest factor. if you look in my gallery it shows how im level and leaning back in the air. give it a steady ammount of gas on the jump dont rev it. in the air you can get back in the middle or silde to the front depending if you have a landing or not. just start out slow and it will come natural as it did for me!!
