My favorite quote from one of my karate teachers. "Its better to ask a quesition and appear dumb for a moment, then to remain silent and be stupid for a life time."

I cant believe some of you guys are bashing the guy bc he doesnt know. This is a forum we come to, to ask questions and learn. Give the guy a break for petes sake.

The hp will vary bc of cams, heads, carbs, pistons, etc etc. So, no, you cant determine the hp simply by the cc s of the motor.

If it's an American Quarterhorse you would have to break it down into cubic inches (ci's) where as an Arabian would have to be broken down into cubic centimeters (cc's). So an Arabian of the same size as a Quarterhorse will appear to be larger because the number of cc's will be greater than the number of ci's.

This goes right back to the 350cc 2-stroke compared to the 660cc 4-stroke. The one appears to be larger yet they are actualy equal when it comes to power output.

If you're really concerned about HP, then go get yourself a nice aftermarket powerband

I m alot more tough skinned than most new people. I just didnt want the guy to think he couldnt come and ask a question. I understand this alot more than some people bc not long ago, I knew nothing about atvs, motorcycles etc etc. I learned by seraching and asking questions. And I didnt want the guy to feel unwelcomed on the forum.

I am not sure that 355cc is correct, I know that 350 CID chevy .030 over is a 355 but this Cubic Inches. Here are some formulae that will tell you how much cc your Banshee is:

Cubic Inch Displacement formula

CID=N x 0.7854 x bore x bore x stroke (all in inches)

N=number of cylinders so for you that would be 2

CC's=CID x 16.39

CID=cc / 16.39 CID=350/16.39 A 350 Banshee=21.355 CID Use the first formula to find out the CID of a .030 Banshee (you might have to convert the stroke and bore into inches 1 inch=2.54 cm, 1cm=100mm) then use the second formula to convert the CID from the first answer into CC's. Good Luck, post the bore size and I will do the math if you want.
