Default Kibble White valve springs?

I recently got back from a horrible running weekend at are local jamboree..... my machine was put together the morning of and had a whole list of problems with her upon arrival! To make the story short at idle my quad sounded like purging a set of alky carbs with gas..... when i got home i recently pulled the head and low and behold i have a brong exhaust spring!!! I was wondering.... should i just replace that valve and spring, or replace all valves and springs to be safe! if doing that this could be a expensive fix!

Were both springs broken? Did you pull the head?

sounds like you need to get a new valve.. and then get some heavy duty springs.. if u just had stock springs and u had cam work then.. yeah get it fixed.. bound to be more problems

Actually the only spring that broke was the middle one in the back! the springs are heavy duty and have 1mm over titanium valves and retainers! i was just wondering if anyone has had a build with a few seasons on it that had any trouble with the springs!

14mins broke one.

I am pulling my cover to check mine out. I am about half way done...will post the results later today I think.

If I had broke one, I would pull the rest of them and check the tension on them.

Did it hurt anything else? Bend a valve?

i havent had time to pull the actual head off yet.... i have just pulled the very top (cam cover or whatever its called) so i will pull the head a.s.a.p and look! i got real lucky with the piece that broke of just setting in the back of the head! at least this gives me a reason to take off the head and take a look at my JE piston after hearing all these horror stories about them!
