i was wondering if anyone has one on the quad and if so did it help and what where your gains becuase im thinkign about getting one myself

 

my friend has one on his raptor, some gains but he likes it becuase its loud, sounds cool but too loud for me, he said big gains in high rpm runs

just be careful and keep an eye on the exhaust studs they will break off at the head, I have had three breaks so far, so I tapped out the head for 1/4 X28 thread grade 8 bolt and have had no more problems with it yet.

 

i was looking in my rocky moutain catalog and they make a quiet core spark arrester kit for all alien exausht systems and its only 62.99

 

If you are looking at that quiet core, keep your money in your pocket and leave the stock pipe on your quad.

HEED these words of advise also, be real gentle when retighting your exhaust studs. They are a big PAIN to fix if you break one off [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I really don't like the DMC alien on the raptor.......my buddy has that pipe on his raptor......and two of my other buddies have piped raptors (one alba and one yoshi)
the dmc gets left everytime!

 

I run a DMC on my Raptor. I like the way it looks and it does had a good amount of top end power and its good quality (fit and finish) but there are better pipes out there and it is very very loud.
