That was a close one! glad to hear that they didnt get away with it. I keep my quad chained up in my garage with a U-lock thru the rear sprocket and I keep my street bike parked directly behind it so if they even do make it into my garage and try to move my quad, they'll have to move my katana which would completly destroy their plans, I have a 128db alarm on it.

 

The thought of getting my wheelers ripped of is $*&*@&#^*$ me off. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] After reading this post and ones like it i went out and bought a log chain to lock up my rides.

do you lock your shed or whatever it is you keep your quads in? we lock ours even though we live in the woods far sacluded (spelling??) from anybody. my friend had his tricked out yz85 stolen... glad u caught the guy dont let him think twice about doing it again.

 

I don't have a shed yet. I guess I spent all my dough on quad's and trike's. I talked to the chief of police today and they are going to try to get 3-10yrs. I hate to send a 17 year old boy to prison for 3 years but I would really hate to be the guy who let him get away and him go out steal someone else's quad.

 

If you dont press charges then he wont learn anything. Its probably not his first time doing. Just his first time getting caught. If it is his first offense he will probably only get probation and community service. So press the charges and he might learn a lesson.

 

My 300ex got stolen, and my dad knows who did it, and came home bloody one day, but it was the guy who stole its blood! He got some stitches in the head, and a broken arm. My dad hurt his knee, chasing him.

I say serves him right, and if we dont get the quad back, it will happen more times, but worse!

press charges man, i had my quad stolen about a month ago. Hammer those guys for even trying, OH yeah and hit them once for me!
