I got an oportunity to meet raptorracer1 this weekend, he has a great quad. I also got a chance to meet sidewinder500, but didnt get a chance to ride with him. We will have to make a trip up to the drag strip really soon. Its to bad we couldnt get more DS guys out there in the drags, but the Raptors were everywhere.

I'm here. Hey Gary it was great riding with you and all your club members. Thanks for making me feel welcome. Your DS is the fastest 4 stroke I have raced yet. Gotta give props to the DS when due. Beat me by 2 lengths every time. Can't wait to see it (hear it) with the drag pipe! Better watch out. Next time out I may have a trick up my sleeve!

MadDog, I will be sure to let you know next time I go. I have been wanting to have a crack at your Raptor. From what I have read it sounds really nice. How fast are you running at Albright Shores? I only got 2 timed runs in at West Michigan Sand Dragway before my cylinder cracked. I hit a 5.6, but I know I am quite a bit faster now. I played with all different tire/chassis setups at the dunes this past week. She's coming along pretty good. Hoping for a 5.2. I may be at the Albright Shores race the weekend after the 4th.

I havent made it to the dragstrip since last summer when all I had was a pipe. I've installed a stg 1 cam, 11:1 stk bore piston, and am currently putting in a +2 swingarm. I had a nasty wreck last winter at the ice nationals at albright shores and had to spend my budget on fixing the bike. I even destroyed my sway bar.

I was running a 6.2 with just a pipe and paddles and a little rich. I would hope you would be able to beat me, but I'd really like the competition. I've only been beaten by two four stroke bikes since my cam/piston. One was a very nice highly modded yfz, the other was a custom crf450 bike engine in I believe 250R chassis. In any case, I want to get out to the dunes and play.

A trick up your sleeve? Sounds to me like someone is going to be installing Nitrous!!! HHHmmmm Thats great. That Raptor of yours is the cleanest looking modded Raptor Ive ever seen. I bet the nitrous install will look fantastic. Im going to check out the calender for the drag strip for the end of July. Im really looking forward to getting over there for the weekend.
