I don't believe the 10lbs.=1hp thing. I weigh 110lbs. more than my riding buddy and both our quads are piped with the only difference being his breathes through the airbox and mine does not. (both jetted accordingly) They are as close in a drag as you can get. So does that mean having no airbox is worth 11hp? I don't think so.

1 reason I asked is cause my bud has a 03 raptor le stock, and we race all the time. I weigh bout 50 lbs more than him, and have bout 40 lbs of extra mods on my raptor.
so when we race, its close....but I can beat him everytime know, if I dont screw up my shifting/keep the front wheels on the ground.
my only mods would be airbox/pipe/jetting.
he definately cant pull on me, but if he gets me in the holeshot....then it will take me a few to catch back up.
I really like this pipe.
sidenote...used my radioshack spl meter and took some db readings on how loud my pipe was
93 at idle
100 at 1/4 throttle
105 at 1/2-3/4 throttle
these measurements were 10 ft behind pipe and to the side 5 ft
