How well does a banshee work when racing around an mx track? Stock and with after market parts? Also, how bad is the stock suspension? Most say bad, but thats what they said about my blaster and I have no problems with the suspension.

I don't care what anyone says about the banshee, it is still the most thrilling ride you can have on an atv. The suspension works fine for stock. I had a 400ex but my friend had a banshee and he would whoop my tail every time we rode so the EX is gone and now I am a very proud owner of a 2001 Banshee. I was going to wait on the Raptor but a four stroke is never going to rip like the two stroke of the banshee. Even if the Raptor is faster stock it would not take hardly any modifications to make the banshee faster than the Raptor. It is a whole lot cheaper to modify a two stroke than a four stroke!

Can a good rider on a banshee beat a 400ex around the track? Ans about how much air can you get without bottoming?

Ive gotten 12-15 feet of air without bottoming out. As far as my moded Banshee is concerned, on the track, it stinks. Not because of the BAnshee mind you, its simply too fast for the track I ride! After I got my pipes and stuff, I could barely get it slowed down in time for the next turn, and I was only in second most of the time. Banshee ROCK...
