Sadly, that is true. It doesn't matter if yamaha quits making them though, because you can make a banshee entirely out aftermarket parts. The banshee has been made longer than any other quad. It's 18 year production span is amazing. I tip my hat to yamaha for having the ***** the put a twin cylinder two stroke in a quad. From 1993-2000 it was the only high performance quad offered by any quad manufacturer. The banshee will always have its place in the heart of a true atv enthusiast. It won't be forgotten.

The Banshee started it all. Sadly, all great things come to end I guess.
Yamaha was so ahead of its time whenever they made the Banshee. To Me, I think they still are ahead of there time.

its also the last year for the blaster is what i heard, that sucks i like 2-stroke way better than 4-stroke.Mainly because where I ride 4-strokes dont do good in races(its a short run).

same here... well the warrior built a name for itself.. and most ppl know what it is... raptor 350 just sounds like ANOTHER knock off of the popular Raptor 660R

yeah thats true.well the thing i dont like is theres a raptor 80,350,and 660.banshee and blaster are going to be gone so theres only raptors and the yfz 450, and dident the banshee used to be yfz 350,watch they call the 450 a raptor.i really dont know why they want to discontinue 2-strokes,banshees beat raptors most the time and ive seen banshees beat the yfz 450s little more than half of the time. And blasters beat just about everything in there class except for other 2-strokes,and they are a great price so you can use extra money on performance parts.
