removing the plates from around my foot pegs. You know those black guards? What is the advantage of having nerf bars?

 

The stock plastic things are cheap and look bad. Taking them off isnt really recommended, it wont make it faster or perform better or anything, but you might get a lot more dirt (or sand) in your shoes. Nerf bars are normally to help keep mx quads from getting their tires entangled near the pegs of other riders bikes, but they are helpful for jumping (if your foot slips off the peg you wont run over yourself) and they look cool.

 

If you take off the heel guards you better make sure you better sharpen your pegs

 

..umm yeah also put a NOS sticker on.,. and youll gain about 5 HP.
