hello i was looking for some insurance for the raptor and ive read where everyone has got there insurance but has anyone made any claims? did they pay for all the costs minus deductables?how much did it go up when you did make a claim? where they easy to work with?

Because i don't want my rates to go out from having insurrance pay for small crashes i keep the insurrance just in case it gets ripped off of i total the thing into a ball of metal. otherwise i'll pay for parts.

Burkedaddy, I sell insurance here in Utah and here it's really based on age more than anything. How old are you and have you had any claims in the past? It can be a little expensive if you're under 22, but you can always go with comprehensive only which covers you for things like theft and vandalism.

 

If you mainly ride on your own property ask your homeowners insurance agent to schedule it for you. It will only cover things like theft and fire, but some agents will also cover accidents on your own property. Worth a try and cheaper than regular insurance.

I totalled my Raptor after a VERY bad collision with a 250X. They gave me a check to the tune of about $8200. I then bought back my Rappy and rebuilt her.

 

if ur bike broke couldnt you just drop the thing off the back of the trailer 75 mph?

 

RAPTORAZ sorry to hear that,were you injured? and was the $8200jst for your bike or was some to cover your injurys? can i insure my quad for more than its worth?also i bought my quad used so i dont have any recipts for the aftermarket work dun to it will they need any to insure me for the extras i have?
