Hey fellas, I just recently got a Yamaha Raptor 350..Love it to death my 1st ATV.Still getting use to it though,just gotta remeber to use clutch when i brake or it will stall or something like that lol.1st ATV i ever got so if anyone has any tips for me post them plz.Ty gonna go practice some more!!!

always wear your helmet
practice shifting your weight to get up steep hills and going around corners
learn to feather your clutch
learn how to powerslide and brake
have fun practicing

Well the best tip for any ATV is don't forget to change the oil after break-in and about ever 10 hard rides after that. some do it more some do it less.
Depends on how hard you ride it.

Put an hour meter on it so you can be accurate with your service intervals. You can get one through Yamaha or direct from SenDec for about $40.

TAKE CARE OF IT AND IT'LL LAST FOREVER......OR A DARN LONG TIME. (whoops)............check my pics and look at my 89, doesnt look that old does it, thats proof that if you take care of it, stuff will last. God luck and welcome to the sport, and website!!!!!!!

welcome to the world of atv's. i remember my first ride alone on my uncles honda, dont even know the name of that thing its so old.

Welcome to the forums. Like everyone said, just do routine tune-ups to your quad often and it will last forever.

get new rear tires..a flat profile for sliding...and remember to push right thumb till it hurts: x
