If you had to choose between...

I'm hoping that for once a thread like this wont start some fights, but I own a couple Raptors and after talking to several people it looks like people still prefer the Raptor over the new YFZ 450. So, the questions is if you had to choose between the new YFZ 450 and the Raptor 660 which would you choose and why? Let's try to keep this as peaceful as possible since I know the 450vsRaptor is a touchy subject. I am only curious as to what the majority public appeals to.

I love my raptor and the potential it has. That said, Its not the best racer for me. I wouldnt swap for any other trail and dune machine, but I'd love to have a yfz for the tt track.

I have both, so I guess I have the best of both worlds, but if I could have only one, I would choose the 450. Don't get me wrong, I like the raptor, but because of the type of riding I like to do, the 450 would be the better choice for me personally.

My brother just bought a raptor, and I took a ride on it this past weekend.
The bike seems to tall/narrow for my liking...but that's just me. i ride dunes and mx..so my YFZ is perfect...if i ride trails i don't even bring the 450...i ride my 400ex...the yfz is no trail bike. I vote 450

I had the chance a couple of months ago to get the YFZ but instead went with the Raptor because I really didnt like the fit the YFZ gave me when I was sitting on it and riding it as well. At the time it felt too small and the bars were pretty low for my liking. But, it had lots of power and was pretty spunky just with a pipe, jets and the cam mod.

I picked the Raptor for a couple of reasons...1 being I weigh 220 pounds 6 foot tall...I felt like I was squating on it..I felt more comfortable on the Raptor... onother reason is that the 450 seemed to be a high maintanance bike being a race proven motor and would need more attentionand maintanance. I also feel that the Raptor has more potential for h.p. If I were 10 years younger and 20 pounds lighter...and didn't have two kids and a wife that rely on me ...450 all the way

I havent rode a yfz450 yet but i can tell you that i would definitely take a 450r over a raptor. I used to have a raptor and I loved it buy imo the 450r was more comfortable and a lot more fun to ride.
