My personal favorite is Motul TransOil. I have also used Belray Gearsaver with good results. Motul seems to last a little longer. It also seems easier to shift with the Motul.

Did you figure out why it was stuck in gear?

 

it was the shift shaft the spring is week!!! new one is on the way!!!!!

80WT........that is too much there banshee boy. You are roosting clutches, that oil is to thick to properly lubricate your WET clutch. I don't know if it has any adverse effects on the bearings, but I would switch to a lower wt oil. Oil is not PERFECT out of the bottle, it must go through a chemical breakdown involving heat before it becomes most effective lubricant. 80 wt has to get DAM HOT to start lubing good for a quad tranny, and as we all know the stroker tranny does not get very hot - not hot enough for 80 wt. I would use a 30 wt , but not any more than 50 wt.

 

Honda Pro 250r transmission oil. It's a red round bottle and it looks like blood red auto transmission fluid.
