Bigdaddy,
I posted this in the Puget Sound thread for you too. Figured I should post it here as well in case it gets lost over there.
What ever you do, don't get the GYTR. It gives good power gains, but falls apart.
Yoshi is good, but is very loud, about 104 db I think. It could be a problem at the dunes. I haven't seen any guys running the FMF on their YFZ's at the races here.
LokiDS650 is in the market for a new exhaust on his YFZ as well. He's been looking at LRD, Sparks, and Trinity (also all loud).
He's done quite a bit of research, so you may want to talk to him.
There is also rumor that LRD is working on a "quiet" system that gives the same power gains as a regular system. I heard it's in the R&D stages right now. I wouldn't mind testing it out for them. We'll be asking about it when we go down to their grand re-opening this weekend.

I JUST got my FMF Factory 4 system and it's great! Good gained power from all around and not to blistering loud! I'm takin my bike to the dyno today to get it tuned up to perfection with this new pipe, then I'll really let you guys know how it performes!
They didn't include the Yoshi system cause it was a quiet pipe shootout and Yoshi didn't have one available for them.

From what my own eyes have seen the HMF slip on is tops . I'm not talking on a DYNO just playing in the sand .
want to make it run great add the ESR intake and filter stick with the stock header pipe and Jet accordingly .
P.S. the main reason you didnt see Yoshi in DW shootout is Yoshi sells complete exhaust systems the shoot out was only slip ons .

I've had no experience with Yoshi's, but two of my three raptors have FmF and I am very happy with them. I think it makes them sound mean and loud, but not too loud. I'm planning on going with the same, FmF, on my stock rappy for a lil' more power.

I highly recommend a Hetrick Racing Pipe. Hetrick has been making some good stuff for a while now and is really starting to get some national attention, especially in GNC MX. The website for the company is www.hetrickracing.com The YFZ Pipe makes some huge power gains.

Just got the complete Alba system. It's a little loud..approx 102db, but Alba is making a quiet tip for $30 that will be available in a month. they say this will get it down to about 95db with a minimal power loss..Huge difference with this pipe and jet kit set up plus you cant beat the price.

Which one is louder? And where did you guys purchase your Yoshi? I was looking on Rocky Mountain but i'm not sure if it comes with the heat shield. It's so hard to decide between these two pipes, alot of people like them both and nobody seems to have anything bad to say about them. At this point i'm just thinking about the fit and construction. Thanks for any help you can give. -Ryan
