Yamaha's line up is gonna suck. All raptors and a YFZ450. WE NEED MORE BEFORE I CRY!!! If they make a blaster a 250cc fourstroke racing quad, lets hope they don't call it a Raptor 250.

No cuz then why even call it Yamaha? Why not just make it "Raptor" and Yamaha could make different quads.

just to let you all know the 2 stroke are not being completely eliminated? After dec 1 and 2 stroke bike will be considered a closed course bike only. So basicly you sign and say yes i will only ride this bike for racing and also any 2 stroke sold after dec1 will not be allowed into atv parks but before dec 1 will be?.There trying to eliminate them but yamaha has this little trick to help sell they to ppl who dont ride at atv parks.

seriously though, look at the honda 250R, when they came out they were awesome and they ruled the tracks for a long time. but now all you see mainly is 450R and YFZ's. and now you barely ever see a honda 250R. think of where the industry is going??? it is possible that in 5-10 years it will be a rare site to see a banshee out on the dunes or trails. The market is going 4-stroke wether we like it or not... it does suck, i dont have a 2 stroke quad but sleds going to 4 stroke sucks butt majorly. i cant believe yamah almost compltely wiped out their 2 stroke sleds. o well, arcitc cat in a few years mabe..................NAH!!!

If in 10 or 20 years, do you guys think good condition banshees/Rs and other 2 strokers will be worth lots of $$?

 

I've heard a few people say that you can still buy 2 strokes from dealers after 12/05 but they are for closed circuits only, but how are gov officials going to be able to tell if a 2 stroke out at the dunes is newer or older than 12/05? Is anyone sure they are going to be selling them after 12/05 at all? If for sure they are not, even though I am a die-hard 4 stroke Raptor fan I'll have to get me a banshee cuz even I admit they are the badest a$$ thing on the planet even though they are ugly as sin!
