since this particular machine doesnt have the best power i was thinking something light, like mudlites or 589's? what do you guys think?

 

what about maxxis mudbugs? those really light aswell.

 

Depending on what size tire you want, 589s are definitely not what one would consider "light".

 

Couldn't find the Honda forum? Sorry, I live in the desert, so I am no help when it comes to mud tires.

 

Try some Mud Lite tires cheap price and the lightness you looking for. the 589`s i think are a wee bit heavier.

 

I had a set of 26" mudlites on itp c series on my 01 rancher es 4x4 and they were the best thing I could ever do for that quad. You'll love em, just stay off from pavement.

 

You can't emphasize that last post enough. If there's anywhere you ride that has a really hard or corrosive surface, you probably won't get the best life out of Mudlites. The rubber compound on the lugs is pretty soft for utility mud tires. ITP claims them to be 6-ply, which is great for the carcass of the tire, but the lugs are not.
