Got one. It's alot of power if you are new. And it is fast. It eats the 250 two strokes. Even modified ones. I ride with a few guys who race, and they love this machine.

If you only weigh 125lbs, then I would probably get the YZF250 or smaller. This bike is going to eat the 125 two strokes.

It isn't much lighter, but the power will be more manageable.

Also, if you are only 5'8 then the YZF426 will be much too tall for you.

You will need to be pretty strong to handle even the YZF250. It is still a lot of machine.

I would say the YZF426 is really too much. I guess it all has to do with your skill level....

i dont really think the yz 426 is that much faster than a 250 two stroke because yamaha did a contest between the 250 and 125 426 and the 250 killed on track.if i were you i would buy a rm250.

the yzf250 is heavier and has cosiderably less HP (5 or more) then a 125. Plus slower revving.... you make the decision.
