HMMM EFI or 39mm FCR's. I might wait awhile to see how well the EFI holds up. I was in automotive service when EFI first came around. A huge step up from computer controlled carbs but they were still having problems.I know its been years and the parts are better than ever but to get everything mapped out has got to be a pain. Prob not alot worse the rejetting 2 carbs every time something changes.

Do a search for megasquirt fuel injection.. You'd be suprised how cheap it can be.. Altho, I have access to a machine shop to make me a throttle body, etc.. If anyone on here is good with solidworks and can make a throttle body on there, I'll cut it for the cost of shipping and aluminum. That's what's holding me up. Also, intake manifold design. Should it be short runner/long runner/box style/etc.. How many cubic inches,etc..

ive never understood how you get more horsepower out of fuel injection...is it not doing the same thing as a regular carb?

when you jet a carb, you'll be perfect for a smaller rpm range.. with fi, you can tune the whole rpm range. and the fi will tune for altitude, weather, air density, etc..
