There are plans that may be a year or more out that include engine management systems to monitor all aspects of the turbo
/nitrous bikes to keep them in a safe and very powerful mode of operation but at this point the conversations are what the future holds and not what reality is currently! Lets keep the chat here accurate and reliable; unfound rumors can be damaging to innocent peoples reputations

I have no intrest in building a turbo bike, but what they have done with them in the past few months has been pretty nice to watch. They are fast, and the couple running around deffinately have the attention of anybody who is (or wants) to be fast.

If you can only run 4 or 5 pounds of boost on a raptor, WHY turbo it to start with. Just build the motor and leave the turbo to the car guys
IMO- any of the quads are going to have a hard time after 100hp. Take a new corvette (400 hp) and triple it and see how good she runs around town. I do think the DS will take alittle more abuse in the motor deptment than a raptor. But it takes more power for the DS to out run the rappy anyway.
What piston did kenzs put in Kingies quad? A nice new gernade proof JE? LOL

Make no mistake HMF440racer i never said a raptor can't be as fast as a ds just they are not as roubust!!!And 14mins at 7lbs of boost at sand mt the raptor was taking the ds apart so why go any higher than you have to if a rappy can do the job @5-6 psi why not ??????? And once again those ds at the cinders were full weighted pigs not set up to drag !!!!!
And mark my words when you meet up with a turbo ds setup to drag don't run what you brung run home and start all over because you will feel as though you've brought a knife to a gun fight
And thanks Majore for clearing that up i tried but my words are not as eliquient as yours GO FIGURE
QUADLESS yea right
Oh yea better suspension YEA RIGHT

Kenz did not build the Turbo Bike in question,we did however build a motor that a tubo system was installed on. We have not seen 180 hp. Maybe that # came from some one else, and as far as we know ther was no crank and or rod problems. And no piston mfg. problem. Check the sourses of this information, maybe its been designed to stir the pot. As for Kenz useing JE pistons we have pistons coming from two other companies to see what all the Hype is regarding their Quality and Realiability is all about. We can let anyone who is interested in our findings know , in a few weeks.

This is a quote that someone posted that was at KMS's shop:
"I wonder what happened to their raptor, i know it threw the rod at the dunes a few month back. but ill ask Kelley where its at and whats the status on that."

It seems that alot of negative talk has been sourounding the turbo powerd bikes. As the saying goes (Rome wasnt built in a day.) Maybe these bikes will come around, they wont replace the carbed bikes but they for sure will make a new meaning to the word Fast Four Stroke... Just My Opinion.

The negative talk is from the ignorant. If turbo's weren't the most effective power-adder at this time. Then they wouldn't be so dominant in the classes that they are allowed to compete in.
