hello i just got my raptor on the road again and still need to buy some longer bolts and washers for my rear skid plate since i put on a bigger rear sprocket is it ok to run it with out a skid plate?

Sure, just as long as you don't hit nothing......

 

i was mainly conserned with the chain slide on the skid plate is it a must have?

 

Thats their for when you hit something hard enough to bend your skid plate up into your rear sproket....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

The chain slide is just for keeping your chain on track during a ruff ride. You don't need a skid plate, I don't use one. If you are riding dues, or other places where there is nothing high enough to hit the chain or disc rotor then take it off.
