Lol, yes we do. Its nice to have roost back, as you said dog, he did have a good library of useful info.

I liked the 1 dollar idea as well. Is there any way they could have a separate mini-forum for free account users who, like you said, would ask very few questions, just about their own bike, and not get into the whole community thing? Maybe have "stickies" like mentioned before to help answer simple or frequently asked questions. Just something to keep the riff-raff out. (yes I said riff-raff)

NOTE TO SELF: Before I type my "I'm leaving" thread. Uncheck the Profile Visibility under profile page so the little head in top right corner goes away. Then I should be able to come and go without most people knowing. j/k

After giving it some thought, I have decided to return. The whole drama queen I am leaving forever thing was pretty stupid. I have a suggestion though. Maybe you could make this a pay site. Just one dollar would keep alot of the punks out of here that sign up just to mess things up.
I don't see your supporting member logo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
I was so gonna say that! haha!

Yeah, roost, I dont know what you were thinking there is only room for one QUEEN on this forum and thats me

As far as making the site better, Bubba is right, there needs to be sticky's as well as the SEARCH button needs to stressed. I use it all the time, in fact I would rather not ask a question I would rather see if its already been asked. Its amazing the number of topics that come up. Eventually every question in the whole world is going to be asked so eventually posts are going to get redundent, but thats what makes it a forum, the old folks need to help out the new folks and dont judge because they might be little punks, but that because they dont understand yet.

Okay Im done.

Queen, I totally agree that the "distinguished" members should help out the new members, thats why we're here. You have to admit though, that there are a substantial number of "new members" that are only here to cause trouble. They may ask legitimate questions from time to time, and I can deal with that, but when they just say something to get people riled up, its a waste of time. Ignorant people (not stupid, just misinformed or uneducated about something) deserve help, punks don't.

I suggest that there be some kind of newbie section where we can have faq threads and who is faster threads. It would really clean things up in the rest of the forums and give the veterans somewhere to direct the youngsters without having to be mean or starting a flame.

I think we would all enjoy having a "special forum" for the less knowleadgeable, but the question is do the moderators want to sit around and play clean up all day. Moving EVERY single "this or that" or "which is faster" thread from where I'm sitting would consume every minute that the moderators have, and they wouldn't have time to post in the useful threads. With the recent additions to the mod staff it is probably possible that they could remove all the repeated threads, but I think there's a deeper problem at the base of our youth I just can't see the moderators going through and actually doing this (no matter how much we'd all like to see it), if the solution was that simple wouldn't they have already done it in the past. If you listen to Chet and all the other "top dogs" on the forums, they're out there to help EVERY single user on these fine boards, no matter how....lacking they are in knowleadge. I'm with you there man, I just can't see it happening. There's two possible outcomes of the forum cleaning...the little chillun' would catch on that "hey all my wonderful threads are disappearing". Or the half way, not-retarded kids that come to the forums for the first time and see the thread with the "magic" question that they were looking for, read through it, and go on with their lives. Those kids (god bless them), may skip over the repeated thread forum, then you got ALL of those kids posting more threads. Therefore even increasing the work the moderators do.

What the mods do to clean up the forum, I hope will work, and I wish them luck. But the solution to the problem is not easy. Welcome back Roost
