Why doesent anyone race raptors???
hey sick660, first thing's first.....Is that really your chick in that pic.... If so.... good job man. if you are winning lots of races it's because the competition is checkin out your chick. back to the topic. I'm thinking of racing here soon. I just need more saddle / track time I feel I do OK for someone who has only riddne maybe 5 times now I just need to get all the details worked out, like what I need, nerfs, kill switch etc. and class or type of racing. I'm all new to this game but I'm super interested....

Thats cool that there seems to be enough raptors out there, but its rarly that i ever see them participating in any events other then our usual hare scrambles and our local CRA Races and things like that...
Yes that is my g/f heather, she is a real hotty...i guess im pretty lucky(HANDS OFF) LOL!
Wish i had the money to make the raptor a full drag mobile but im into trails and the woods racing, so idealy i would need another bike....
Glad to see several responces from you all!

Stock weight, handling isn't up to par compared to the newer 450's, and the 660cc's isn't really class friendly. Raptors around here usually only
race the open modified class. Also the market isn't very big for them for MX.
The raptors never win in the modified class since they are racing against true MX quads like Sparks 350R's and ESR330's / CT330's with thousands invested into aftermarket Laeger chassis's, suspension, long travel a-arms and suspension(usually elka's or pep) and so on. The market isn't that big for raptors to be designed to do things like that yet. The YFZ will be the only one with attention for MX racing and aftermarket MX support and the rest of the new 450's
