Good choice, I havnt tried my banshee on a MX track but my buddy has one and races MX and he loves it and said to me if i ever wanna race with my shee to just use a gear lower than all the other riders would be using (because of the gearing on the shee and the powerband of the shee) By staying in the powerband it makes it alot easier to accelerate and break the tires loose with a feather of the clutch for tight corners. IMO it would be quiet a different style of racing on MX but if you get it down pat you will be VERY hard to beat.
