I didnt see that statement anywhere in his post. He just stated that they werent as fast as his friends claimed that the pred was. The friends were comparing their preds to the 450's and stating that the pred was better.
Granted, the 05 pred is supposed to have 50hp, not the 04. I would imagine that its a very generous dyno. I'd actually be suprised if the 05 pred had that at the crank.

I had a guy on a z400 want to drag against my yfz (both piped w/ jet kits) for a $100. This was at the local Dragstrip. We're both sitting on factory tires... I had a nail sticking otta my back right tire, and even after I filled it up w/ air, I didn't feel comfortable racing it on the pavement... However,gGiven the fact that I've raced on dirt against a;
piped but not jetted z400 (yoshi)
cr125 (yes a dirtbike)
c-dale cannible
stock raptor,
and had no trouble beating any of them... (c-dale gave me my closest run at it.)
You think I was out to make a quick hundo? He raced a stock Rappy and beat it by about 8 bike lengths...
You think he would have caught me by the time I got to the 1/4 mile marker?

My Buddies got a z400 with a Yoshi Pipe and jetted and he barely beats me in the first 100ft. Thats all the Launch but after that he dont stand a chance. LOL You say the same setup but not even jetted beats a Stock Raptor by 8 lengths. The Raptor rider must not know how to ride or something.
