So the only real difference is the trans gears. Everything else is a bolt on that they throw in, like on the ds baja x. Thats cool that polaris offers a choice like that. All the yamaha and suzuki owners get on their "limited Edition" quads is different paint and plastic colors.Dont give us the story about supporting America. The predator engine is build in japan, along with half of the rest of the parts that are put on it.

The new TLD comes with alot more then the standard predator.Close ratio trans, front rezzies, razr radials there is a few more differences. As for weight yeah yamaha says the YFZ is 350 dry whats the wet weight that it what counts anyway how about the raptor.. hush hush we cant say the true weight,,, As for a quad, i rather buy from a company that supports the great country so many have died for and STANDS behind there products,, yamaha runs from you guys and you still keep coming back, i wonder if there is a mental block somewhere.and don't start this Predator owner go mad crap because i own more then a predator, i also have a Suzuki and a Yamaha.

I know the motor is jap, its made by a division of Subaru Motors (yes the car company).
There is a few things you got wrong,no biggie though 90% of the parts say "Made In the USA" right on them even the thumb throttle and all the little things that normally aren't made here. Since the company is based here in the US money and jobs are too.
I'm not saying my quad is better because of where its made, i am just informing you as to where most of the parts come from.

The only thing that may make the TLD faster is that it has a close ratio transmisssion whereas the standard Pred doesnt

Smoking my buddies piped and jetted Z400 all over the dunes (and everywhere else) is even more fun.
Why is everyone a polaris hater, always trashing on their reliabilty?? My 03 Predator has had zero problems
(well, a few loose bolts)with well over 100 hard ridden hours on it.

True, I have had Polaris quads for 10 or 11 years now, and I have had no problems with them. The problems that I did have, were due to normal wear and tear(or due to my overlooking a problem, or abusing the quad). And lets not forget fellas, that Polaris DOES cover their rider's @ss in almost every situation. When I buy a quad, and I am told that I have a warranty, I expect them to cover everything....and they do!! Just admit that the Polaris is starting(maybe slowly) to make their way to the top.
