Raptor 350 vs 300EX vs 400EX
yes i know this is a yamaha forum and all but i have a quick question im looking into getting a 03 warrior or a 04-05 300ex which truly is faster and does the 300 really keep up with the warrior......with both of them stock...i have heard read diff things and i just wanted some more opinions thx in advance

There are literally hundreds of posts dealing with this comparison. The yamaha sits nicely between the two hondas. Its a 350, its where you would expect it to be. Do a search or two and you will have more info than you can handle.

oh ok cuz i did search and i mean i couldnt really find anything i did find one site tho that showed dyno info and they are about the same the warrior didnt have MUCH HP more so i think i might just go with the 300ex...and not to diss the warrior but i also have read alot of things that go wrong with it and problems that people have been having but thxx for the help anyways

THats BS abour kissing honda "Ace", look at all the ads in the magazine most are for yahama, as well as the back cover has yahama ads all of the time. DW is always praising yamaha. I personally think DW is pro-yamaha! AS for the Warrior that thing is a peice of chunk, its a slow lead sled. I road one of those the other day and i couldnt beleive how gutless they are.

My first quad was a Warrior.......our first trip to the dunes, and I came home and sold it. Got a 400ex.....the Warrior couldn't get up any hills......I was so mad!!! But it's a fine trail quad....nothing wrong with it.....it's bulletproof, comfortable, and fun enough.....but when you want to ride it aggressively, it shows it's biggest weak points.....HANDLING! At least they look 100% better now!! I like their new look....

The Warrior is faster but the 300EX is better handling. Even though its way outdated I really value it alot since its my first quad but still one heck of a ride.Its not a Z or a Raptor for that matter but i am happy with what i got.
I really dont like the new look for it though i dont like the raptor 350 (no offense girlygirl) it really killed the original look of the warrior the least they could do is keep the plastics for cripes sake.
