There is not much aftermarket on the predator, I am doing a trade-in on Friday!...SO i must know by then but i am most likey going to go with the 05 Z400
I would go with the YFZ but due to problems with it, NO REVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!! and the clearance is even less then anything else out there, makes it hard to want one!
Thanks for the help,

The V force sucks as i told you before matt lol its belt driven, shaft, automatic POS and its a kawasaki at that not totaly cutting down kawasaki because i do love the prairie,KFX400,and the new Brute Force but do your self a favor
GET A SUZUKI Z400 the 05 model or a YFZ but i prefer the Z if the KFZ has reverse get that but im not to sure about the reverse
+ the Kawasaki weighs in at 500lbs and its BIG and WIDE you can really toss it around like the Z 700 or not that Z will keep up with a raptor easy!
ive had alot of madd problems with kawasaki bikes ive towed in more than ive seen being driven

The YFZ in the woods is like a honda recon on an MX Track LOL......they just dont work!
The VForce is a Great GNCC Machine but i dont know if i want to give up shifting like i said, and im not sure if i like the way u mod it to make it fast......Im not finding shocks for them either.....
They sound sick as hell with the auto tranny, its the belt that makes the noise!

I've raced my KFX700 in 7 GNCC races, and yes they do well in XC. But they are far from the fastest out there. The weight of the V after a 2hr race just plain wipes you out. Out of the 400+ atv's that race, there are only about a dozen V's that race (not including the utility unlimited class which is mostly V's). I had about $11000 into my V just to be able to do well. (3rd was my best finish). My brother has a Pred with about $6500 into it, and he just plain smokes me in the woods, strait aways, and the MX parts of races. After the last race at the Wisp, we both got to a open section of the track at the same time, looked at each other and pinned it. He just walked away as I was eating his dust. 2 weeks after the race, I sold the V and got me a Pred. Now the playing field is equal again. Don't get me wrong, the V treated me very well, and had no complaints (other then the weight). But it just can't keep up with the manual sport quads in XC racing.

I think that is pretty much what I said back on page one, except that my experience has been with desert racing instead of GNCC racing. From 0 to 30 mph the V is quick, but try to beat a manual transmission sport quad (any manual transmission sport quad) at accelerating from 30 to 60+ mph, and the V falls flat on its face, especially on rough terrain.
