I agree, it didnt look very fast to me. But thats not to say it wont be faster later in the future
wshr "Harnessing the power and getting it to the ground is key. Alot of tire spin I'd think. Time for taller tires say 24" and 12-14 paddles imo"
I disagree, with those motors you need to get ther tire moving and get the motor up in the rpm range where it actually will make some power. I wouldnt go over a 12 on any open area bike

I have 25x12x9 12 paddle Skate trak whatever, whatever on it now. And everyone keeps telling me to go higher count on the paddle. But I keep thinking let it spin. So am I right on this Dabeech.
Oh and a Haybusa powered Raptor might be coming up in the works soon!! My buddy wants to outdue mine on cc wise.
And yes the setup is half the equation. I've got power, now I have to set it up. That video is the first test and tune I did on it. Everyone just wanted to challenge me.

Different types of tires hook up different. I never got a good look at them but if they are UL (SLS) skat traks 12 is all you need. You should gear around your tire, not tire around your gear if that makes sense to you. If I can hook up my 200 horse banshee with a 12 paddle im sure you can do it too.

200 horse Banshee, normaly I'd call bull, but in my short time of duneing I've seen a lot of crazy fast stuff.
Basicaly I was meaning with the power he has, his tires are probably spinning and not moving him forward as fast as he could be, thus the thought of a taller tire and paddle with a higher number of paddles to get the grip. From what he says he's already at what I was thinking might help him get the power to ground, trial and error.
With the toys beech has I'd certainly give his thoughts a try over many others. Keep in mind your Raptor with this motor weighs considerably more than his 200 hp banshee, that would factor into what size and paddle to use I'd think.
Still gotta love the sound that thing produces. Good job Clutch Olds.

might be 190, but i just rounded up enthusiastically.
My buddy ran a 900 opend up to a 1080 and he was only running 10pad taller haulers and he had no problem launching that thing hard. Like i said he may be running a standard hauler 12 paddle in which case those do not hook like a SLS.
With a heavier bike you run less paddle at any rate.
