The DS was made solely for sand, If you wanna spend the cash buy it. If you you want to ride trails ever, forget it. It cant fit down most. the raptor is designed for multi purpose usage, im sure it will be fun in the dunes And represents Modern Yamaha Technology. Also some people have poor luck with the Ds, we dont know how the Raptor will be but Hopefully it will have less problems. Modifications For the DS seem extremely Pricey with few companies so far. I feel that Yamaha will have more available quicker and by companies that already design mods for banshee blaster and warriors.
