yfz kick start...

Default yfz kick start...

I just saw it on yama's site was wonderin if neone plans on this but i would (own opinion plz don't hate or discriminate) you are really stupid for doing it on a quad that comes with a push button start..

You loose about 15 lbs. if you change over. I am highly considering this too as a future mod, won't ever have to worry about the damn electrical system later on then either. Those starters and wires are expensive to replace.

having a kick start instead of an electric takes away a lot of wieight

wieght is what its all about!!! for those who do nothing but race mx or drag race... kick start is the way to go... less weight and less problems. cant go wrong... i have thought about it but i got better things to spend 500 bucks on right now.

Anyone have one yet and willing to share there experiences? If so and you also have the cam mod, is it any harder to kick start like it is with the electric?

well i see your point now... 15 lbs is alot... (for mxin) ok.. i take bac kwhat i said b4..

i was just thinking someone was talking about a kick start for the raptor and ,, wouldnt it be kinda hard to kick that over??

Hey Bubba, my uncle owns the kicker on his 450. Such an amazing invesment, you save lots of weight, from the already light YFZ.

The electrical problem is not known anymore, and also the kick inspires it more as a "race quad", ya know what I mean?

When I get the 450, its something I will definately be getting once I start MX.
