I am really having a problem choosing between a raptor or a yfz... I need something to ride all year round even in the snow, But this 4 wheeler has to keep up with snowmobiles in the snow and would be jumped some. I dont have very many trails around but some mostly in a straight line and on the frozen rivers. I need a top speed of about 75 - 80 to keep up to the snowmobiles when there not even full throttle. I like going fast but money is kind of a issue, the YFZ450 is $5800 and the raptor $5300 for leftovers. I am planning on keeping my next quad for 5 - 10 years... Whats the better choice?

YFZ 450 but you wont be keeping up with many snomobiles .

 

get a snowmobile.

 

The yfz is really fast in the beginnings, but little by little the raptor is going to catch up.
