Default trail tech lights suck

I had alot of trouble with my trail tech blowing out bulbs or just coming apart, I called them up and have had them send me three different sets of bulbs for free but the same thing kept happening. Finally they sent me a new mounting bar with vibration isolators and that fixed the problem, they have worked for over a year now with no problems, and I ride very rough!! Just call trail tech and they will hook you up they have great customer service!!

I had the antivibe mount for the handlebars and that didnt help, this set of torchlights Ive got in the stock locations also have the islolation mounts and they still go out. What I did was put lock tite on the little screws and put in a fire retardant material inside the housing to minimize vibration, so far it has worked great! The HIDs come with a mounting hardware either for handlebars or stock location, its not just the bulbs..they come with a nice polished housing and you can get some covers to protect the light as well as a wirering harnes to make the install A LOT easier. If you want a cheap way to add lighting, just get a hella 550 or 500 light and rig it up to your bumper, Ive seen lots of quads here running hellas.

I had the HID and if you want them for function dont get them they suck they look very pretty but they suck. i was better off with the 50w halogen.
had the same problem on the halogen with aluminum housings with the plugs disintegrating and the bulb too SO i called them and JENNIFER @ TT sent me teh new MR16 housings for the halogen and the isolated mounts (the stainess steel housings ). i still have them ive rolled my bike on the trails and they are still there working perfectly. i know they have new MR16 HIDs 75 Watters but i havent tried those , they are just too much money il get a bigger light set up with that much like caliraptor said some hellas.

hey cali do you have the MR16 75 watters or do you still have the 35 watter?

that part that got welded broke a while ago. I didnt actually weld the subframe to the frame, its just the mounting tab on the frame FOR the subframe. Donde in san diego are you at exactly?

My trail techs have worked flawlessly for 3 years. I think some people have too much air pressure in their tires which causes more rigid vibration and causes problems with their lights.
