Default 2000 Warrior won't start

So last night figured i'd fire her help and **** my neighbors off a little before i went to bed. She started right up but than died. Started than died. Did that about 10 tens and now she turns over but will not start. Its like she's not getting gas. Made sure the kill switch is on, fuel in tank, petcock on fuel. Figured i flooded it but when i checked the spark plug it was bone dry. Last time i went riding we did some serious mud and creeks riding. And i had some water in my airbox. My guess is that my carb is clogged up. But just wanted to get your opinions since i'm here at work and now its driving me crazy since i didn't get a chance to do anything last night. I did pull the hose from the petcock to the carb and I spilled about 1/4 gallon on my garage floor so I know gas is coming from the the tank.

try to clean out the carb / airfilter and then see if your spark plug caps are ok, my friends ds is doing that and it his plug caps, but also make sure there isn't any water in your oil !!

Same thing happend to me this weekend while riding.

The bike seem to be running fine, then when i'd let off the gas it would start to bog and die .. then died completely. I found that if I pulled the choke I could get it to idle, but very rough. Turn the choke off and it would die. Same symptoms .. seems like no fuel

How I fixed it was to first turn off the fuel petcock and disconnect the hose between the tank and the carb. If your machine happens to have a filter on this line (mine doesn't) check it and the line and make sure both are clear.

I turned on the fuel **** with the hose off making sure that fuel was delivering from the tank OK and it was. So the next step was to loosen the carb bowl drain screw and drain off the carb bowl. It's a good idea to have a container to catch the gas in so you save the environment a bit of poisioning.

When the carb bowl is drained, hook the tank-carb hose back up and open the petcock again .. let a good stream flow through the carb before tightening the bowl drain screw again. Then fire the beast up.

That's what I did and it worked good. Some dirt was dislodged by the flow of fuel and now she works great again.

On another topic here .. why were you trying to **** off your neighbors or were you just playing the fool?? LOL

Fookin took my carb apart twice last night and could not figure out why no fuel was getting in. But i definitely could see no gas spraying in from the bowl. Checked petcock again no problem. Kept spraying carb cleaner and the bike would run till the carb cleaner was gone. Figured it was something with the float. Took carb completely apart and checked the float and measured proper distance at about .5 inch. Everything seemed fine. No go, no gas coming in. Put away for the night before punching a hole in the wall.

Woke up this morning work clothes on. Pump throttle about 20 times times. Checked needle. Moved around needle. Go to start bike and gas spraying in. Yahoo. Starts right up. Go to work happy. Until i get here than it sucked again. LOL.
